RESIDUAL MATERIALS TO VALORIZE

Domestic and commercial waste:

 

The technology used by PRECO allows the recovery of different wastes mainly destined for landfill. With this recovery we obtain solid recovered fuel (SRF). To obtain it, the waste is previously summited to a process of characterization, selection and selective triage.

This SRF is formed by organic fraction, as well as by rest fraction, mainly made up of paper, cardboard, plastics and wood, and textiles.

Industrial waste:

 

PRECO’s technology also allows the recovery of several industrial wastes known for their suitability, various sludges resulting from industrial processes, plastics, old tires, rubbers, used oils, biomass of industrial origin, as well as solid recovered fuel (SRF) made up of organic fraction, mainly composed of paper and cardboard, among others, and by plastic fraction.

PRECO also valorizes ​​bio-waste. Bio-waste is defined as biodegradable waste from gardens and parks, food and kitchen waste from homes, restaurants, collective catering services and retail establishments, as well as similar waste from food processing plants and other industrial and commercial processes.

Agroforestry biomass:

 

PRECO also valorizes agroforestry biomass, mainly consisting of remains of silvicultural works, treatments of agroforestry crops, as well as waste from agroforestry industry of first transformation, specially shells and seeds of different fruits.

MAIN PRODUCTS TO OBTAIN

Bioliquid and biofuel:

Bioliquid has similar properties to fossil fuels. It is obtained through extractive technology and used in various energetic applications. The extracted bioliquid is also destined to elaborate multiple chemical compounds, used mainly in chemical and pharmaceutical sectors.

In addition, the biofuel obtained by PRECO can be used in transportation, avoiding the consumption of fossil fuels.

Renewable fuel of biological and non-biological origin:

Renewable fuel is a liquid obtained from materials of biological and non-biological origin. They both proceed from waste (ex.: plastics destined for landfill) and from mixing waste with material of biological origin.

Biochar:

Biochar, a sustainable and organic material, is reserved for fertilization and soil structuring, especially in ecological farming. Biochar is also used for obtaining thermal energy, given its high calorific value, with similar characteristics to charcoal.

Wood vinegar or pyroligneous acid:

Pyroligneous acid, commercially called wood vinegar, is especially used as an organic phytosanitary and phytostimulant, clearly different from products of chemical origin, especially in biocultures. This compound is also used as a root and foliar fertilizer.

Bio-bitumen and Bioasphalt:

Product used for obtaining bio-bitumens of sustainable origin, in order to avoid the consumption of bitumens from fossil origin.

Synthesis gas:

Used for generating thermal energy and electrical energy and for industrial processes. This product is used in the synthesis of hydrocarbons and polymers, through the so-called Fischer Tropsch process.
